The Silmarillion fills in the background which lies behind the more popular work, and gives the earlier history of Middle-earth, introducing some of the key characters. These new editions are illustrated with J.R.R. Tolkien’s own artwork. They will be packaged with the following features: shrink-wrapped for damage protection, a sewn hardback binding with a ribbon placemark, ink-sprayed edges displaying Tolkien’s runes, (LOTR) two maps loosely tucked, and will be printed on FSC “forest-friendly” paper. The text will be printed in two colours with full-colour illustrations, and the dustjacket will be stamped in two foils with a circular die-cut. Shipping FREE Shipping within the continental USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority Mail is available for an extra $20 shipping charge. If you are from an American location that is not part of the continental USA , you will be required to pay for Priority Mail. I have set these locations as Exclusions, but I will be happy to remove the exclusions upon request and agreement to pay for the $20 for Priority Shipping. International Shipping will be via eBay Global Shipping Program. I use Media Mail to send to the Global Shipping center in Kentucky, however, if you wish for it to arrive at the center more quickly, you can add $20 to have it shipped there Priority. Return Policy: Returned or exchanged items must be in original condition to qualify for a refund and must be returned within 30 days from the purchase date.
